Here, it lives a bit of my journey and some of my creative work. I am constantly learning new skills towards digital illustrations, and I am passionate about flowers, organic shapes and nature elements, and I try to incorporate my Colombian roots into my illustrations as much as possible.
Hi! I am Margarita.
I develop bold, nature-inspired surface patterns that merge botanical elements with geometric rhythm and vibrant colour. My work grows from photography, sketching and digital illustration.
I’m interested in home décor, stationery, fashion and lifestyle that value joyful, contemporary visual identity. If your project could benefit from fresh pattern work with cultural warmth and versatility, I’d love to explore possibilities together.
My Process
My artwork process begins with observation. I photograph plants, textures and small natural details that catch my attention. From there, I move into sketching, exploring shapes and rhythms until the forms feel alive. I refine these sketches digitally, building colour palettes that balance vibrancy with harmony. Once the illustrations are developed, I experiment with layout and repeat structure to create patterns that feel fluid and intentional. Throughout the process, I prioritise digital creation to minimise waste and maintain a sustainable workflow.
